YO YO!~ SPECIALLY FOR FELLOW MALAYSIANS~ and everyone nearby~ XD~ there will be a Comic Fiesta held on the 17th and 18th (saturday and Sunday) December 2011!!~~~ okay, i'm late for this... i did not kow much about it until my friends told me about it and didn't have the time to check properly OTL i blame SPM again... =3=~

What in the World is Comic Fiesta?

Comic Fiesta IS without a doubt Malaysia’s longest-running and most epic convention that focuses on animation, comics and games (ACG). We take pride in celebrating all aspects of art and creativity (as well as the ever popular ACG culture), collecting all these elements in one location and unleashing this melting pot of human ingenuity to all members of society, both locally and internationally.

Responsible for ushering in the rapidly-expanding ACG community into Malaysia, Comic Fiesta (CF) is proudly an event by fans for fans. This is the first and the biggest non-profit ACG convention in Malaysia, organized by a group of passionate individuals brought together by one common goal, and powered by a massive community of professionals, amateurs and enthusiasts of all age groups.

Since its humble beginnings as a small exhibition at the Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall in 2002, CF has grown exponentially in both size and scope to become the premier ACG event in Malaysia. 2011 marks the tenth anniversary of CF, set to delight close to 20,000 visitors on the 17th and 18th of December 2011, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre!

Shimokawa Mikuni and Ceui will be there on the 17th!!!

i'm not sure about Shimokawa... but i love Ceui! i only listened to her Stardust Melodia single and i already love her voice... and to think that i get to meet her in person *Q*~

well, i think this is the biggest attraction~ i mean... it's like a dream come true for an otaku like me to meet an anisong artist in person!!!! *A*!!

Makoto Shinkai, hailed as “The New Miyazaki” and the director of Hoshi no Koe and 5 Centimeters per Second, will be bringing something special to CF 2011. Comic Fiesta is proud to present the Southeast Asian premiere of Makoto Shinkai's latest epic masterpiece: Hoshi Wo Ou Kodomo (Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below)!

This film tells the story of a young girl named Asuna who spends her days listening to a mysterious music coming from a crystal radio left by her late father. One day, she is attacked by a monster and subsequently saved by a boy named Shun. But Shun mysteriously disappears and it’s up to Asuka to find out just what is going on.

Described by Shinkai himself as “his longest animation film to date”, Hoshi Wo Ou Kodomo is a gorgeously animated, action-packed tale of adventure, friendship and romance. Comic Fiesta 2011 will be the FIRST screening of Hoshi Wo Ou Kodomo in Southeast Asia!

The doors will open on the night of December 17, 2011 with a super-special screening of Hoshi Wo Ou Kodomo exclusively for ALL Comic Fiesta 2011 attendees. But wait, there’s more! You’ll also have a chance to get your hands on exclusive posters and folders autographed by Makoto Shinkai himself!

Frankly, have yet to watch Hoshi no Koe and 5 Centimeters per Second.... =3=~ i've been left out with all the latest news, animes and anime movies & OVAs since i was studying like mad for SPM... but i've seen images for 5 Centimeters per Second~ it looks soft and simply beautiful! it gave me the urge to watch it~ x3~ uguu~ i'm soooooo staying till the end of the first day to watch it!!!

i'ma forcing my parents to bring me to KLCC on Saturday asap (i don't wanna miss the openin ceremony!) and i'ma camping whole day at KLCC!!! i wanna be a part (of the audience / attendees) throughout the event!!!! it's my first time ever going to an event like this!~

aa souda! the entry ticket is RM15 per day / person... unless you pre-order it or buy a mock ticket or something... (more information on ticketing)

blah, i know i'm late... i think almost all Malaysian fans of anime/manga/cosplay etc have long knew about this... maa ikka~ i just ran out of idea to blog... XD (since there hasn't been too much updates for KHR =w=~ ara maa~ i'm such a big fan of KHR XD)

i wish to go to these type of events more often in the future and let's hope someday, the organising committee will, for some reason, invite Inoue Suguru *Q*~ /shot... anyways~ i'm still trying to get mock tickets if possible from Animetech... saves me RM5 XD

i'ma charging my digicam (i don't have those kickass awesome DSLR cameras =.=) and hope i can meet with super hot awesome cosplayers, be it boy or girl~ cause i love both~ i'm a bi.... i'ma a pervert

i wanna meet up with Nagi-chan, fishy, Christal, Bluey also~ if possible hui and min~~ =3=~ i'm glad you know~ =w=~ gyahaha~ and i asked some of my friends/classmates to go too XD~ can meet with them there too~ wee~~~ we might not meet each other after this... since everyone will go everywhere for college/work/further studies/etc after this OTL i will miss my hometown Sitiawan =3=~ i will miss my school =3=~ i've been studying there since 7!!! *counts* *GASP* 11 long years!!! @_@! gosh! i still remember when i ran around the school field in the morning almost everyday when i was 11 or 12 XD (to cure my morning blocked/runny nose XD i feel so stupid XD not that i'm not stupid right now XD)
