Kagerou Project & Kagerou Days (manga) review

nee nee~ shitteru? watashi wa nee~ vocaloid uta no FAN desu!x3

agah! this is odd XD to be typing almost fully in japanese... (especially when my japanese kinda suck XD) nee nee~ ya know?~ i'm actually a Vocaloid song fan! x3~ and and~ just recently i discovered the magic of the Vocaloid Ranking thing on Nico Nico Douga OTL yes, it's kinda sad to be using it only after about a year creating an account there OTL...

but thanks to that, i fell in love with a composer's work: Jin!!!! (じん)

I am particularly fond of his works under Kagerou Project (カゲロウプロジェクト)... I am not so sure whether i'm referring to it the right way or not since i am considered a beginner in all these Vocaloid stuff... cause all i used to do was download blindly without looking at the composers and all... and mostly cause Usa and Hanatan and Tourai and Pokota and Yamai sang the song or something XD

anyways~ it's cause i heard the Children Record for the first time when i first open the Vocaloid ranking thing... then i was thinking, "i heard this melody before... it sounds a little like Souzou Forest"... then i clicked the mylist there and *facepalm* okay... same composer! and i'm officially a fan XD so sorry for my long winded story... i tend to do this very often XD

anyways... actually i'm just too lazy to google up the details of Kagerou Project... there are tonnes of info her on the Vocaloid wikia on Kagerou Project... and i felt like i am missing out a whole lot... i only heard half of the songs under Kagerou Project OTL...

... i will follow every single trail of Kagerou Project... after my trials... i am supposed to study for my trials right now... i'm always distracted like this! AGAH!!!!

it's cause i accidentally clicked on the Mangafox icon on my browser and my eyes landed on a new upload: Kagerou Days... my eyes popped out when i saw Jin and Shidu under the author... and so i end up reading it... OTL *covers face and cries* i really need to study soon...

Spoiler alert~ but not much... since i got more from the Vocaloid wikia page =3=~ however i am referring solely to the manga... i don't want to mix things up!

So all in this chapter is that Shintaro is a shut-in for 2 years and he compose songs in hopes to rank #1 in Nico Nico Douga... However he has this girl on his computer, Ene, who is actually kinda innocent and carefree and if i might add a total moe! x3! Ene played some pranks on Shintaro and his keyboard and mouse broke... He couldn't buy them online since the sites are on a break and sorts he had to go out and buy them himself... that's cause he can't survive a day without his PC~ He went out feeling the heat of the summer and thats all in the Heat Haze Days (Kagerou Days) Chapter 0....

okay, my personal views now~ throughout the whole chapter, i was smiling~ i felt like i could understand Shintaro and all *nods nods* yes, the life where you feel like you can't live without the computer and all~ and Ene is just so cute~ but then i think this chapter in whole is not a very good one... T_T~ sorry Jin... but referring only to manga... this is not a good start... it doesn't give me an impression that this will turn out to be a good manga... if i'm not a fan of the songs of Kagerou Project, i don't think i will remember to check for the release of the second chapter... the storyline is not much and the character kinda lacks originality... the art too T_T~ Shintaro especially... but Ene looks kinda normal here :x somewhat... maybe because of the art and all... it feels totally different from seeing her in Headphone Actor. (i shall conveniently embed the PV here)


i personally prefer the Ene with the more mysterious feeling to it... i think that is why i thought the manga was not a real good start cause it didn't build up any curiosity and it didn't had enough charm that is present in some other slice of life manga i read... But i have to admit another thing, Ene ddo have some cuteness power to her~ XD

And i kinda feel that this manga will be kinda slow-paced T_T~ Art wise, it's just decent~ but i think it's well-suited for the series~ The humour level is just okay also~

Overall... my impression on this manga it's kinda bad... if it was a standalone manga without the songs.... i really would not anticipate for the next chapters T_T~ (so sorry) but since there seems to be a promising storyline from the summary at the Vocaloid wikia and it will link the songs all together~ i will keep myself updated with the chapters to come! and also~ the character designs, i really liked them all! so i wanna see the characters appearing soon in the chapters!

okay~ just to fill in some gap~ i'ma telling you guys my favourite character is theperson from Mekakushi Code!~


i like this song a lot too!~ Mekakushi Code is what got me really hooked on Kagerou Project~ i thought, "This guy in the video is really cool" All this while... until today when i saw the wikia, "OMG!!!! his name is Kido Tsubomi!" .... then i saw that that character is a girl... OTL... i'm so sorry Kida... all the while i thought you are a guy... gomen T_T~ but i still like her! she is so damn cool X3!!

My favourite song from Kagerou Project is Kisaragi Attention~

i like how this song bring about a total different feeling from the other songs~ x3~ and also the PV is real cute!!! x3~ Souzou Forest is nice too~

but i still prefer Kisaragi Attention~

My next favourite is Konoha no Sekai Jijou~

i find this song super super cool~ x3~

then comes what brought about the name of the project (i think) Kagerou Days~ also the most popular song up till now~

i think this song had a lot of character in it~ the melody and all~ it's real unique~ but it's not really my liking as compared to Kisaragi Attention and Konoha no Sekai Jijou XD~ so yah~

Then comes Children Record~

It's also another cool song~ i have an extreme fondness toward cool songs like this~ along with the goddamn cool kickass PV!!! *drools*

Mekakushi Code comes next~ then its Souzou Forest~ Headphone Actor and Jinzou Enemy~ i have not listened to the other songs yet~ so thats how i rank Kagerou Project's songs~ don't kill me or anything~ that's just what i think~ XP~

and my favourite character designs are Kido and Ene~ both for their coolness~ but why Ene is so so cute in the manga?! that kinda shocked me a little...

i am a beginner with these things~ i shall equip myself with more knowledge on this~ once i equip myself with knowledge to face my trials first.... till then~ ja ne~~~

i'm late for posting about C2AGE day 3 OTL... i think... i'ma gonna ditch the idea of blogging about it :( cause it will be kinda outdated :(~ and and! guess what~~~ i'ma going to AFA Malaysia tomorrow~~~ *dances around*~ i'ma going to see Kalafina and Maon Kurosaki de arimasu!~ x3~ i will see Oliver, James, Kaichou and Ee Wei-chan there~~~ maybe Moya too~ :(~ haven't heard updates from her@_@~ i shall call her later~ :S

i promise i will post about this event as soon as i can~~~:D~

and now... i shall study like a zombie for my exam... it's my semester exam... and its starting this Monday @_@~.... today is Friday~ and Rebecca Black taught me that tomorrow is Saturday and Sunday comes afterwards T_T and i will spend both days at AFA Malaysia without studying at all!!! whole both days!!! at least from 9am to 9pm!!! OTL...

i think i said this before, but, it's hard to be a nerd and an otaku at the same time... and it is just too difficult when the otaku side owns the nerdy side OTL... say goodbye to my grades *waves with hanky*

aaand~ Rebocon 5 DVD was released and i, again, felt really really left out OTL... what i did was: goes to Nico Nico Douga to search for any rebocon videos posted and to feel disappointed after that cause PonyCanyon seems to be VERY protective for the contents =3=~~~

WORSE STILL!!! IT WILL BE SCREENED ON CINEMAS!!!! it's stated here at the Ponycanyon's official Rebocon site~ =.=' and so it'll only be available to those who are in Japan again T_T~ THIS IS SO UNFAIR!!!!

agah... this will be a very short update cause i'm too lazy to translate the rest @_@~ and i have still yet to find the video of the that Inoue Kazuhiko and Katou Kazuki's PV thingy @_@~

after lunch the Cosplay competition finalists performed~~~

i'll post in order of the performance~ and i've selected a few of my favourite~x3~


i don't know who he was cosplayingg but i thought he must be quite into that character~~~ and i liked what he said at the end, which i did not record T_T~ he was just accompanying the trees or something =w=~

and~ sorry for the poor quality T_T~ this was recorded with my digicam and i shrank it to a smaller size so that it won't burden my stupid intrenet too much T_T~~~ but on the bright side~ you can listen to my laughter and what the guy in front of me was saying and stuff like that *shot*aa~ and not forgetting the girls wearing nekomimi in front of me.... i was separated from fishy nagi and all... T_T~ i was standing there alone T_T~

this evil girl!!!! she made full use off her beauty and put on an utterly beautiful performance!!!! but i dunno who she was cosplaying :S

this one! something Monster Hunter something~ This is one amusing performance~ in addition to their accent and how they talk~ it's funny! i like their style! hear me laughing and my expression throughout their performance~ XD i'm one annoying audience~ XD and when i laugh, i tend to shake my camera =w=v~ there is another one, but i find this more amusing~ the two people there help each otherr with performance~ :3


Ranma 1/2 !!!! i totally love this performance!!!! the cosplayer was totally in character!!!! very Ranma-like~ and the announcer's accent! seriously cracked me up! and the Ranko's appearance gave me a pleasant surprise~ x3! =w=)b


Zabuza from Naruto!!!!~ this is one hell of a amusing performance!!!! this Zabuza is funny! and sexeh~~~ if i stood closer to the stage, i swear i would've drooled a puddle =w=~~~~


Mihawk from One Piece~~~~ this is pretty amusing to~ i think i shouted like mad when Hancock appeared~ cause she was so pretty =w=~ and the epic line was when Mihawk said, "so what? I'm gay~" XD!!!!!!

that's that~ and the result was announced towards the end of the day that the best group cosplay (which i missed in Day 1 and i have no idea who they are OAO)


and and for solo cosplay~~~~Zabuza got a prize~ for something @_@~ there are three person from the solo cosplay who received the prizes~

i envy that girl!!!! SHE GOT TO HUG THAT HOT ZABUZA!!!! OAO!
i dunno why there aren't other videos for the prize-giving but the i have pics *grins*~





the Lol cosplay thing~ there's the Youtube guy, horse guy (?) Lego @_@~ and and some robot thing *dies* i dunno @_@~~~~

there's also one prize for OTP o.o~ but i missed it OTL... that time, my camera's battery went dead... T_T~ you know why??? :3~ it's because i went and took too much pics~~~ i shall flood the rest of the post with pics~ :D~ and comments, or me rambling on what had happened~ =w=~

let's rewind to after the final cosplay performance~~~


nuu T_T~ a bad shot~~~ it was in the corridor and Zabuza and co had soooooooo damn many people wanting to take pictures of them T_T~ i could not go right in front of the to take a pic T_T~ then then~ a miracle happened~~~~ Zabuza, for some reason turned to where i was standing and posed for my camera!!!! *Q*~~~

KYA!!!!!! i almost fainted right there and then~ and i had this happy-idiot grin plastered on my face~ thank god i wasn't drooling~ =w=~~~

KYAAAAA!!!! she's so cool!!! it was so real!!! her cosplay.... she made me thought that there really was an accident or somethin OAO!!!! and her expression omg!!!! she didn't even smile once!


i made my way back to the hall and spotted Agito from Air Gear!!!! i loved him so so damn much and i just snapped the photo of Agito walking past~ and coincidently he was looking at the camera~~~ :3


Kakashi~~~ he was walking nearby and asked him if i could take a pic~ :3


we (reunited with my friends~) spotted Ranma and Ranko!!!! gosh!!!! i was so desperate to get their pics~~~ and they were makin their way into the hall~ thank you so much for allowing us to take your pic!!!! *bows 90 degrees to Ranma & Ranko*

before we got in to the hall~ around a restaurant~ we spotted a whole group of KHR cosplayers!!!! OAO!!!! they were queuing but they actually posed for us nonetheless~~~ *wipes tears* why are all of them so kind?!!!!! T_T~



and then~ i think it was Abby... she spotted a Mukuro cosplay outside the place!!!! so we all ran like mad dog to go outside XD!!!! we had to run a big round because it was practically a one-way direction around the halls~ @_@~~~~ they were running so fast... me and Nagi were the slowest T_T~ and good thing Mukuro did not budge from where he was but he was on the phone... so we took our time to catch our breathe while i took the opportunity to take the group pic of the One Piece crew~

we ran so much cause we did not spot any Mukuro cosplay until then XD~

we waned to go back to the hall again~ and i spotted Maka!!! from Soul Eater!~ they were looking for Soul, i think @_@~ but they actually allowed me to take their pic T_T~~~ so sorry T_T~ and thank you!!!!



Durarara!! i think @_@~~~~ i'm not sure~ cause i have not watched it yet T_T though i really wanted to T_T~~~~ i blame school!!!! OAO!!!

it was beautiful~ Shiomaru feat two other friends singing Secret Base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~ (10 years after) :3 there's also Sakurazaka Minori (i think) she also sang Secret Base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~ and Shunkan Sentimental~ a few more, i can't remember~ i missed Rociel's and Huei Chan's performances :S~

Project groups: °C-ute and Morning Musume? i dunno, i can't remember XD but i seriously love those two~ i hate Berryz Koubou and i used to hate S/mileage... ugh! Berryz's song is seriously not my type! and s/mileage... ugh! their cutesy song is too extreme!!!! so extreme that it's pretty disgusting to me... ~_~ but °C-ute is only occasionally having cutesy songs~ which kinda suits my appetite (cause i munch on 'em XD) whereas Morning Musume, i've only recently fell for them, thanks to their 9th generation members~ XD so i'm kinda... new to MoMusu XD anyways~ Morning Musume released the PV or MV for their new single: Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun dayo! / Kare to Issho ni Omise ga Shitai

a frigging long title which i can't even remember... it's the last single featuring Takahashi Ai~

[hey! °C-ute's single will be out on 7th! a week earlier~~~ i'm waiting~~~~]

i didn't even thought of blogging about °C-ute or MoMusu here before... but then, the new MoMusu's MV was so shocking that i felt like sharing XD

In the MV, the first song was Kono Chikyuu no Heiwa wo Honki de Negatterun dayo!, translates as "I'm really hoping for peace on Earth!" in the MV, every single soul is prettified!~ XD okay, i'll go member by member~ in no particular order~


Takahashi Ai:
hmm, not much to comment... Her singing is like usual, pretty powerful, i'd say 2nd most powerful vocals! but then i got something to comment, her jump at 4:27 was so damn awkward... anyhow, she's awesome, but i still don't like her... no idea why... but i don't hate her either... ._.


Niigaki Risa:
MY FAVOURITE VOCALS IN MOMUSU!!!! Her singing ish super awesome! it's super powerful! but she gets a lot less lines than Takahashi Ai and Tanaka Reina~ She looks super pretty here too!~~~ this make-up suits her! (but i think she looks prettier in Only You MV, and looks super ugly in Maji Desuka Ska! MV =X) an her dance looks effortless X3


Tanaka Reina:
I love Reina! she's got a good voice~ very distinctive~ but not as powerful as Niigaki Risa~ and and! she's pretty and cute!~ When i first watched a Morning Musume MV, i think it was Shouganai Yume Oibito, the ones that caught my attention was Reina and Sayumi XD~ this is what you call, love at first sight~ X3 she dance effortlessly~ but then, she looks no different from herself in all the other MV


Mitsui Aika:
You don't know how shocked i was when i saw her in this MV... she looks stunning... cause she looks so damn super extremely ugly in the other MVs i've watched frankly, her face is pretty unique and this make-up totally suits her~~ X3 Her dance is just so-so to me~ and i don't really like her singing ~_~


Michishige Sayumi:
SHE ISH MY IDOL!!! i love her! i seriously love her~ she's cute! she's pretty!, no SUPER PRETTY! and i LOVE HER VOICE!!!! when i first heard her in Shouganai Yume Oibito i officially fell for her!X3 her dance is pretty good too~~ o o! and SHE LOOKS EXTREMELY STUNNING IN THIS MV!!!! i mean, she's no longer cute! she looks matured (and reminds me or Airi because of that hairstyle) but, homg! she's awesome! she almost killed me with her looks!~ please, give her moar lines after this! she keep getting those "ah~" "uh" lines =.=' *sigh*

okay, next are the 9th generation members~


Ikuta Erina:
frankly, i can't tell the difference between Ikuta Erina and Fukumura Mizuki... they even wore the same coloured shirt in Maji Desuka Ska! =.=' at least in Only You MV, they had different hairstyles and i can tell... now, they change hairstyle again, and hence, i'm confused again... i only know till i searched for their image in this MV nd found it here (images i got from there too~ XD) in the Only You MV, i thought her dance was the 2nd worse... =X although she is really really pretty~ she looks nicest in this MV, compared to Only You and Maji Desuka Ska! i dunno why, but she just do~ and i officially fell for her~ her vocals is pretty good~ but her dance... perhaps with a lil more experience, she'll improve? XB


Fukumura Mizuki:
i cannot tell the difference X_X seriously... anyways, she's the 2nd most powerful dancer in MoMusu, even more powerful than the others~ i came down to that when i watched the 2 dance version of Only You~ She's pretty in the MV too~ much prettier than in Only You~ and and~ i forgot what i wanted to type... nevermind... carry on~

my least favourite member... =.=' i don't like her at all! i am always distracted by her mole and to me, she's the no 1 worst dancer... after watching the Only You dance version... i'd like to describe her dance as army-like... it's like... OAO army... seriously... her voice is powerful and unique, that's definite... but her dance... and she's not the cutest there too ~_~


Sayashi Riho:
I really liked her since their debut with Maji Desuka Ska! she's really cute~ she's got a powerful voice, but she still need to work on it a bit more to be on the same level as Takahashi Ai, Reina Tanaka and Niigaki Risa~ but my likings for her seems to drop single after single (XD) i don't know why... but my love points for others kept increasing, but not hers... -.-' and she look no different from all the other MV... but her dance is definitely superb! i'd say it's the most powerful one! she really puts energy into it!

this song all in all, is very MoMusu... no other ways to put it~ things always get nicer in the chorus~ i love the chorus~ seriously~~~ and the bridge which is sung by Niigaki Risa! d(^O^)~

i was super shocked when i heard it! cause its.... its.... Michishige Sayumi's lead vocals in this particular song! after waiting for so damn long! finally i get to listen to moar Sayumi~~~ this song is super cute!~

okay... i too lazy to blog suddenly... i think i need go study~ perhaps i can keep blogging moar on ℃-ute and Morning Musume next time, though i don't think anyone's reading this, but it's to satisfy my urge to share~ XD
